Ginger, vanilla, and rosemary come together for a parade of flavor that makes this Moscow Mule one of a kind. Serve Celebrate Magazine’s refreshing cocktail all year long for holiday parties, spring gatherings, summer cookouts, or fall tailgates. The homemade ginger syrup adds a wonderful touch!

- 1 (12-ounce) bottle ginger beer
- 1/2 cup cream soda
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup vanilla-flavored vodka
- 1/4 cup Ginger Simple Syrup
- (recipe follows)
- Garnish: fresh rosemary
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup peeled fresh ginger
- Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add beer, soda, lime juice, vodka, and Ginger Simple Syrup. Shake vigorously for 5 to 10 seconds. Strain over ice into glasses. Garnish with fresh rosemary, if desired. Serve immediately.
- In a medium saucepan, combine water, sugar, and ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, and cook for 5 to 8 minutes. Remove from heat. Let cool completely; strain, discarding solids. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
